The Ravens are Arriving

We have quite a few ravens around here. This one was in the tree beside our house, calling to family.

Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary

Our appreciation of the natural music of our gardens and the thrilling flashes of eyes, fur and feathers lends itself quite naturally to fostering a support of that for which every garden becomes a haven.

Cedar Raven Studio is proud to extend this event to include those furred and feathered friends who are unable to make it to any garden party due to injury, illness, or even "fowl" play.

On Thursday July 23, the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary will attend the Raven’s Garden pARTy to answer questions, accept donations, and share the seeds of care and dedication.

Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary has created a detailed guide to help you co-exist with many wild species. Click here to download this helpful pdf file.

Calling all Ravens

Cedar Raven Studio is looking for works on or inspired by Ravens, birds, and gardens for our 2009 specialty event. These pieces will be on display in the sumptous gardens surrounding the rock mounted studio which crowns a small pond and waterfall.

There is limited availabilty for indoor wall space, a fair amount of outdoor wall space, plenty of garden space, and items like cards and prints will have a home indoors.

This is an early call to artists to give that extra time for creativity bursts.
In the works: Tea service, on hand garden expert, wildlife charity.

If you are interested in entering single works for this show or participating on a larger scale please leave a comment and your contact information

You can also contact Col Mitchell at 705-646-2978 or email ravon247@sympatico.ca
